DIGITAL SKETCHING | HOW TO DRAW CARS IN 3 QUARTER VIEW

Drawing a Car in Rear 3 quarter View

Time to switch things up and keep the drawings a little fresh.  We have plenty of front views but now it’s time to create some rear 3/4 views.  For this video I will actually use and underlay of a previous sketch that I had created which ended up coming out really odd.   So what do you do with odd drawings that don’t seem to look correct? Well..you attempt to correct them.  So here we will start that process of correcting the rear view sketch and create some decent looking lines!

Tools used:

Tablet PC

Software – Painter 12

Wacom Pen

The above tools were used to “simulate” traditional drawing methods.  Please note that if you ARE a beginner, it is key to start creating your sketches with paper, markers, and pencils.  It is THE best way to charting your path to be a sketching pro!
